From 26 May – 17 June 2017, the MCA lights up and stays up late as part of Vivid Sydney, the festival of light, music and ideas.

Over 23 nights, from 26 May to 17 June 2017, Sydney will once again become the canvas for colourful 3D projections and light installations transforming the harbour foreshore.
There will be extensive road closures and special event clearways in the Sydney CBD, Circular Quay and The Rocks during Vivid Sydney to help minimise traffic congestion. Open daily from 10am–5pm, you can also see contemporary art after dark every Wednesday when the galleries, Cafe and Store are all open until 9pm. Closed 25 December.

The MCA is located on Circular Quay West, Sydney. It is easily accesible by public transport.

Important travel information
Transport for NSW is building a new light rail. Road closures along northern sections of George Street mean roads surrounding MCA will be exceptionally busy. Allow extra time when travelling by car, especially during the AM and PM peak and use the city’s preferred driving routes.
