Contemporary Kids
– Upside Down and Inside Out

Get reflective and look at the world in new ways this summer.

Pick up your Gallery Explorer from Level 3, then venture outside to the MCA lawn to look at Anish Kapoor’s huge Sky Mirror. Draw an upside down and inside out view while looking at the sculpture on the lawn.

This month’s theme is all about reflection, so head inside to find more mirrored artworks around the gallery, collecting special stamps as you go. Let creative play lead the way in our Creative Studios with a Sky Mirror-inspired collage and sculpture activity.

Cut, bend, fold and join pieces of cardboard and silver paper to build your own warped mirror artwork to take home.
