Bella in the House

Experience a full day program in an MCA Bella & Sydney Opera House combined excursion for students with specific needs.

Tour the House with guides experienced in special education and creative play and then extend your journey in the outdoors and explore the harbour on your journey to the MCA. Link creative themes and engage with artworks in the MCA galleries and work with Bella Program Artist Educators to create your own creative response.

This new program is offered once a month and is FREE for schools. Excursions can be tailored to the individual requirements of students aged 5 to 18 years with physical, intellectual, behavioural or sensory disability.

Bella in the House sessions are offered on Mondays once a month during the school term or on other days by request.

Session Times: Nominate your preferred session start time.
Session Length: 3 hours. This includes a 1 hour Sydney Opera House tour and a 1 hour Bella program, with 1 hour scheduled for lunch and travel between venues. Times can be varied by request.

The MCA Bella program was established in 1993 through the generosity of MCA patrons, Dr Edward Jackson AM and Mrs Cynthia Jackson AM, and the Jackson family, in memory of their late daughter and sister Belinda.
