The MCA Library provides access to information of art specialists and researchers, students and MCA members.
Planning your visit
We recommend booking your group visit at least two weeks in advance, more for popular exhibitions. Get in early for large group bookings or specially tailored programs.
Pre-visit information can be sent to you on request to assist with planning your visit.
School Holiday Programs are highly popular. Ask to be placed on our Kids & Family Programs Email List so you dont miss out.
Bags (bigger than an A4 sheet of paper), coats and umbrellas must be cloaked.
We recommend a ratio of one adult per ten students for school-age groups.
Food, drink and photography is not permitted in the gallery spaces. Mobile phones should be switched off.
Booking an experienced MCA Art Educator for your group's next visit will ensure a fun and valuable experience for all.

60 minute program: $100 per 15 students or less (GST-free)
90 minute program: $130 per 15 students or less (GST-free)
120 minute program: $180 per 15 students or less (GST-free)
Member and Sydney Morning Herald subscriber schools: 10% discount
PSFP and CAP schools: 20% discount
Cost includes all art materials for practical programs unless otherwise stated. Teachers, carers and aides are free.

Please confirm your booking at least one (1) week prior to your visit.
MCA Learning advises that cancellations received less than three (3) working days before your intended MCA Educator-led visit will still be charged for in full.
For Educator-led sessions, MCA will invoice you after your visit.
For pre-paid bookings, the MCA does not offer refunds if fewer attend on the day.
